It is said that delectable Gianduja (pronounced jan-doo-yah) was invented in Turin during Napoleon's Regency. A resourceful confectioner decided to stretch their chocolate spread by adding a local hazelnut paste. The result is a classic Italian delicacy, one of Uli’s personal favorites.
